- Install the extension, sign in with Google, and it fills forms on job postings for you to review and submit — never auto-submits.
- Bring your own Gemini/DeepSeek API key, or use Spyder's built-in AI (rate-limited per account).
- Optionally enable remote MCP access in the extension's options to drive it from Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible editor.
Connect an AI editor
Once you're signed in and "Enable remote MCP access" is turned on in the extension's Options, any MCP-compatible AI editor can drive that same browser remotely — the same tools (click, type, snapshot, the Workday helpers, …) the extension itself uses. For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http spyder-jobs-remote https://relay.spydermcp.com/mcp
Or a manual config, for any other MCP client:
{
"mcpServers": {
"spyder-jobs-remote": { "type": "http", "url": "https://relay.spydermcp.com/mcp" }
}
}
No token to create or paste in — the client discovers the sign-in requirement itself and opens a browser for the same Google sign-in the extension uses. It only ever drives a browser that's signed in to the same account with remote access turned on; with that off, a tool call fails immediately instead of hanging.
